Live music by Mojomentum from 1:00–5:00 p.m.
Plus a live KRTN radio remote and more western entertainment planned throughout the day, including cowboy poetry, old-west characters, and horse-and-carriage rides.
Food & Refreshments
Come hungry! We are planning complimentary hamburgers, hot dogs, chips, cookies, and bottled water from noon–2:00 p.m., with Little C's serving from noon–5:00 p.m.
Big Anniversary Raffles
Raffle tickets are $5 each and will be available in the store Monday, September 14 through Saturday, September 19.
Planned prizes include Hondo boots, a 6X Stetson hat, a 6X Serratelli hat, Ariat boots, Solano's gift cards, western apparel, and more prizes from many of the brands our customers know and trust.
Raffle drawings will be held throughout the afternoon on September 19. Winners do not need to be present unless otherwise announced.
Anniversary Merchandise & Giveaways
Shop limited-edition 70th anniversary shirts, caps, mugs, stickers, and koozies, along with special giveaways while supplies last.
A Community Tradition Since 1956
Solano's began in 1956 when Andy Solano opened a small boot repair shop in Raton. Through the years, Fabie and Ralph helped carry that tradition forward, and generations of the Solano family grew it into an authentic western store known for unique boots, bold cowboy hats, old-west clothing, personal service, and our one-of-a-kind Hat Cemetery.
We are deeply grateful to the generations of customers, employees, neighbors, and friends who have supported Solano's and helped make it a Raton tradition.
