Fits just ever so slightly big, but not enough to make me return it for the next smaller size. Stitching is very good. Palm material is very good. It has three side grommets on each side for ventilation but is just a bit warm. Shaping it was a breeze. I submerged it in cool tap water in the sink for about a minute and a half to two minutes and immediately shaped it the way I wanted it. I let dry overnight and have worn it about eight or ten times and it’s doing fine.
It’s not super hard like most factory straw hats, but that’s fine for me as I wear it mostly around the yard and at the beach. Well worth the money.
