Saw these boots in a store in South Da Kota about 40yrs ago. A yr or so later my wife bought me a pair from a store here in Des Plaines Ill. Same boot, Chocolate Cow. I decided to put a coat of polish on them before wearing. Clear polish, but in doing so one boot turned about 2 shades darker than the other. The store said they tried but nothing could be done?? Asking around someone said to call Tony Lama. I found his store in Texas and talked to him or a representative , I think it was him. He said to send the boots back to him. I did and about 2/3 week later I received another brand new pair. Softer leather and the color did not change. Still wearing them today. A real Class guy. Great company. Thanks Tony. Jim...
